Ok, so i have these two HUGE fist size hermit crabs in my 10 gallon tank in my basement room. I wake up this morning and first thing i do is walk to the tank to check on my crabs. I turn on the little tank light and what do i find? Tulio (my newest buddy) is running around completely NAKED! He is out of his shell streaking and giving me a full moon. (if crabs CAN moon that is) So, of corse being me i say to the crab "YOUR NEKKED!!!! OMG!!!!" and i open the tank and immediately get his soft rump damp with a few spritses by my handy dandy spray bottle. (can't let him dry up now can i?) Then i dig up his shell and i place it becide him and say "Put some clothes on Tulio! We have women in this house (myself included)! You can't go flashing your derriere at everyone who goes by!" I grabbed the large log in the tank and steal it hideing it under the tank. "You don't get this back untill you put some clothes on!!!!"

Yeah i kinda joked around with a situation that was serious but...it's ok! Taking the log out gave him nowhere to hide so all he COULD do was put the shell back on. Which he did. I left and took a shower and you know what? I come back down and he's clothed! Shell on! No more streaking for YOU Tulio. Bit of a scare but that's ok. He's safe and shelled and it's A OK! Silly crab you.
